This is a picture of a small part of the results of the ice storm that hit northwestern Washington state in the winter of 2003. Note the ice on the antenna wire and the gate. This is a VERY unusual condition in the lowland Puget Sound area. The ice build-up was from about 14 hours of frozen drizzle.
